PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

As part of its Civic and Voter Education campaign for the 2017 Presidential and Representative Elections in Liberia, the National Elections Commission NEC will begin the recruitment of Civic and Voter Educators and Gender Mobilizers for the process today Friday August 4, 2017.

Applications for the recruitment for Civic and Voter Educators and Gender Mobilizers can be sent to the Headquarters of the National Elections Commission in Sinkor, Monrovia.

Last day for submission of applications is Thursday August 10, 2017.

Requirements for the recruitment are:  

Civic and Voter Educators

  • High School graduate and above with good writing skills
  • Ability to engage and interact with large crowds
  • Must be able to speak the vernacular of the locality
  • Be familiar with the area of assignment
  • Capable of walking long distances
  • Previous civic education experience especially during the voter registration and exhibition with the NEC will be an added advantage
  • Females are especially encouraged to apply

Gender mobilizers

  • High School graduate and above with good writing skills
  • Ability to engage and interact with large crowds
  • Must be able to speak the vernacular of the locality
  • Be familiar with the area of assignment
  • Capable of walking long distances
